How credits work

Credits measure the work Anela AI does. You spend them when Anela AI builds; you get them from your plan, from top-ups, and from the Daily spin.

What spends credits

Every message that puts Anela AI to work spends credits: building, planning, fixing. The amount depends on how much the AI model read and wrote for that message, so a wording change costs a fraction of a new page. Two things push the cost up: a higher mode and a higher effort. Two things spend nothing: editing wording with the Text tool in the preview, and setting up a database, sign-in or secrets from the Assets tab.

Part of what the model reads is remembered between messages and billed at a lower rate, which is one reason a follow-up message usually costs less than the first one.

Seeing your balance

When a build finishes, its cost shows under Anela AI’s reply in the chat, next to how long it took. On the dashboard, Billing shows your balance for the month, how much of your plan’s credits you have used, your plan, and an activity list of every build: the credits, the project and the mode it ran on.

Where credits come from

• Your plan. The Free plan gives a small amount each day, up to a monthly total. Paid plans include a larger monthly amount. Monthly plan credits are for the month they arrive in and do not carry over to the next one.
• Top-ups. Buy credits from the Billing page whenever you want. Top-up credits never expire.
• The Daily spin. Once a day, from the dashboard rail, you can spin for free credits. It is a real spin, so some days win nothing. It needs a confirmed email address, and a brand new account waits a day before its first spin.
• Referrals. While the program runs, friends who join with your link get free credits, and you earn credits when they build and buy. Referrals: invite friends.

Amounts and prices live on the pricing section of the home page and on the Billing page, so this guide never shows you an old number.

What a failed or stopped build costs

If a build fails because of a problem on our side, you are not charged. If you press Stop, the work already done is charged. If the AI model provider fails part way through, what it used is charged. Running out, topping up, plans says what to do when the balance reaches zero.
