Referrals: invite friends
Referrals is the free way to more credits: share your link, and when friends join, build and buy, you both get credits.
Find your link
Section titled “Find your link”Open Referrals in the dashboard sidebar. On a phone it is under More. Your link is at the top of the page: press Copy link, or on a phone Share to send it with any app. WhatsApp, Text message, Email and X are one tap away too. When you run out of credits, the Refer and earn button on the card opens the same page.
What you and your friends get
Section titled “What you and your friends get”- Your friend creates a new account after opening your link, and gets bonus credits once their email address is confirmed.
- You get credits when they build their first app.
- On their first purchase, you both get a share of the credits they bought, up to a limit each.
- After that, you get a smaller share of every purchase they make, while the program runs.
The Referrals page always shows the current amounts, so this guide never shows you an old number. Everything arrives on its own, right away: nobody types a code or claims anything. Referral credits expire some months after the month you earn them; the page says how many.
What counts
Section titled “What counts”- A new account, once per person. Your friend has to create the account in a browser that opened your link in the last 60 days. Someone who already has an account cannot be added later.
- Not your own accounts. Accounts made to collect credits, throwaway email addresses and sign-ups from your own browser do not count.
- Refunds take credits back. If a purchase is refunded, the referral credits it earned are taken back, as far as they are still unspent.
Your site’s badge
Section titled “Your site’s badge”Sites on the Free plan show a small “Made with Anela” badge, and anyone who signs up from it counts as your invite, just like your link. On a paid plan the badge is hidden; turn it back on with Show the “Made with Anela” badge on my sites, on Referrals or in Settings.
What friends see, and what you see
Section titled “What friends see, and what you see”Friends who open your link see your first name, so they know who invited them. Turn Show my first name to friends who open my link off on Referrals if you prefer not to.
On Referrals you see each friend’s first name, the day they joined and whether they built their first app, plus every credit your invites earned. A purchase shows only as the credits it earned you, never with the friend’s name. You also get an email when you earn credits; turn Email me when I earn credits off on the same page.
A limited-time program
Section titled “A limited-time program”Referrals runs for a limited time, so the rewards may change or the program may wrap up. Anything you have already earned stays yours until it expires. Referrals shows in the sidebar only while the program runs. The terms have the full rules.
