Running out, topping up, plans
Running out is not a disaster. Here is what happens, and what to do.
What stops
Section titled “What stops”When your balance reaches zero, the next build does not start and the chat says Out of credits. A build that is already running is allowed to finish a little past zero, so it is not cut off mid-sentence.
Nothing else changes. Your project, your published site, your versions and your chat are all exactly as they were.
Add credits
Section titled “Add credits”- Open Billing on the dashboard.
- Choose a top-up, or move to a plan with a larger monthly amount.
- Pay. Credits arrive right away.
- Go back to your project and send your message again. A build that stopped for lack of credits does not resume on its own.
On the Free plan, a small amount of credits also arrives each day, up to a monthly total. That needs a confirmed email address. The Daily spin on the dashboard rail is another way to pick some up.
Change or cancel a plan
Section titled “Change or cancel a plan”Everything about your plan lives on the Billing page. The plan cards move you up or down: a change to another paid plan takes effect at once, the old subscription ends, and the credits you already had stay and are added on top of the new plan’s. Manage billing opens your subscription, where you can change the payment method, see invoices, or cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the credits you already have stay until they are used or their month ends. On the Free plan there is no subscription to manage, and the button says so and offers the plans instead.
Limits that come with a plan
Section titled “Limits that come with a plan”Each plan allows a set number of projects. If you reach it, the message tells you the number, and you can delete a project you no longer need or move up a plan. The number of builds that can run at the same time is limited too; the chat tells you when to wait. Which modes you can pick also depends on the plan. How building with AI works.
Amounts and prices are on the pricing section of the home page, so this guide never shows an old number.
What is charged when things go wrong
Section titled “What is charged when things go wrong”- A build that fails because of a problem on our side: nothing.
- A build you stop: the work already done.
- A build the AI model provider cut short: what it used.
- A turn Anela started on its own to fix an error it spotted: nothing.
How credits work has the rest.
