Getting started

Do I need to know how to code? No. You describe what you want and Anela AI writes the code. The code is there to read if you are curious, but you never have to touch it.

Do I need an account? Not for the first build. You get free credits and one project without signing up, kept for seven days. Publishing, sharing, restoring a version and most other actions ask you to create a free account or log in, and your work comes with you. Your account.

What can I build? Landing pages, blogs, portfolios, restaurant sites, booking pages, online stores with real payments, apps where visitors sign up and keep their data, and browser games. Welcome to Anela has the longer list.

How do I start? Type a sentence describing your site on the dashboard and press Enter. Attach a logo or a screenshot if you have one. Your first site in ten minutes walks through it.

Can I start from a template? No, and that is deliberate. You start from a sentence. If you already have a project somewhere else, bring it in.

Can I bring a project from Lovable, Replit or Bolt? Yes. On the dashboard, choose Import a project. Anela gives you a prompt to paste into that platform so its agent packs an export for you, then you upload the zip here.

Can Anela redo my existing website? Yes. Modernize your website, on the dashboard, takes the address of your site and rebuilds it with a modern design. Bring a project you already have.

How long until I see something? A first version usually appears within a few minutes. Bigger requests take longer, and the Building card shows how long Anela AI has been at it.

Building

How should I write my requests? One change per message, as specific as you can, describing what you see rather than how you feel about it. Attach a screenshot when it helps. Ask for what you want.

What is Plan first? A way of working where Anela AI proposes a plan and waits for your approval before changing anything. Good for big changes. Build, or Plan first.

What are the modes, and can I choose the AI model? The mode pill under the chat box sets how much thinking each request gets: Economy, Balanced, Power or Ultra Power. Which ones you can pick depends on your plan, and Max also lists every model under All models. How building with AI works.

Anela AI broke something. Now what? Tell it exactly what you see and ask it to fix it. If that goes in circles, restore the version from before the change. Checkpoints and restore.

Can I undo? Yes. Open Checkpoints (the clock button) in the header, pick a version and restore it. The newer work stays in the chat, set aside, and you can bring it back.

Does restore undo my database too? No. A restore puts your code back to that moment. Your database and your chat stay as they are.

Why did Anela AI stop, or go quiet? Quiet stretches of a minute or two are normal while the model thinks. Longer than that, and something else is going on. Anela AI stopped or went quiet.

Can I attach images and files? Yes. Images, PDFs, Word and Excel files, CSV, text, Markdown, JSON and zips, up to ten per message. Photos only count as seen when the model in use accepts images.

Can I change the wording myself? Yes. The Text tool in the preview lets you click any text and type new words without spending credits. Select lets you point Anela AI at one element on the page.

Can I see or edit the code? Yes. Press Files in the editor’s header: its Files tab shows every file with an editor. You can also download everything as a zip or sync it to GitHub.

Can two people work on the same project? Not yet. One account owns its projects. Sharing a password is not a workaround we recommend.

Publishing

How do I publish? Press Publish in the header. Your site goes live at a free address ending in anela.site. Publish your site.

Can I use my own domain? Yes, on any paid plan (Lite and up). Your site can live at your own web address, like yourname.com: connect one you already own, or buy one through Anela from the publish sheet or the Domains page. Connect a domain you own.

Can I remove the “Made with Anela” badge? Yes, on any paid plan. From Lite up, your published sites are served without the badge, and it comes off the live site without republishing. You can turn it back on in Settings, since a visitor who signs up from it counts as your invite. On Free the badge stays.

Can I take a site offline? Yes. On the dashboard, open Domains and take the address offline or disconnect it. The address is held for 30 days so nobody else can take it.

Is my published site safe? Before a site goes live, Anela checks it for common problems, such as a key left in the published files or data that anyone could read, and refuses to publish until they are fixed.

Credits and plans

What does it cost? Plans and prices are on the pricing section of the home page, and your own balance is on the Billing page. The guide does not repeat prices, so it can never show you an old one.

How do credits work? Every message that builds something spends credits, depending on how much work the model did. How credits work.

Do failed builds cost credits? If the failure was on our side, no. If you stop a build part way through, the work it already did is charged. If the AI model provider fails mid-answer, what it used is charged.

What happens when I run out? The build stops and nothing else is lost. Add a top-up or change your plan and send your message again. On the Free plan a few credits also arrive each day. Out of credits.

Do unused credits carry over? Monthly plan credits are for their month. Top-up credits never expire. How credits work.

What is the Daily spin? Once a day you can spin for free credits. It is a real spin, so some days win nothing. It needs a confirmed email address, and a brand new account waits a day before its first spin.

Your account and your data

Who owns what I make? You do. Download your code any time. There is no lock-in.

Is my data used to train AI models? No. Your prompts, your projects and your secrets are never used to train models. The privacy page says what is kept and for how long.

I forgot my password. Use the password link on the login screen and follow the email. Your account.

How do I delete a project? On the dashboard, open the menu on the project’s card and choose Delete. That erases the site, its database, its files and its address.

How do I delete my account? Open Settings on the dashboard and press Delete account at the bottom. It asks you to type your email address to confirm. Your sites go offline, your domains are released and your credits are gone, and there is no way back. Your account.

Is there a mobile app? There is nothing to install. Anela runs in a web browser, on a computer or a phone, and on a phone the editor shows one pane at a time. Your customers can install your published site as an app on their Android phones: Turn your site into a phone app.

Can I use Anela in Spanish? Yes. Open Settings on the dashboard and choose your language. This guide exists in both languages too.
